First-time flyers enjoy gliding

THE December meeting of the Hadzor and Oddingley WI was held at Dunhampsted, where 30 members enjoyed a festive Christmas meal together with crackers, paper hats and mottoes.

ON a cold and blustery November evening, some 25 members and guests of the monthly Greek interest club enjoyed an entertaining and impromptu symposium evening. Various topics were raised and discussed, including life in the northern Peloponnese town of Kalavrita, monasteries on the male-only domain of Mount Athos, holidays to the Cyclades, land registry issues in Corinth and general advice and tips on travelling in Greece.
