Breast cancer is a phrase which strikes fear into the hearts of hundreds each year. It is a disease that can tear families apart leaving a trail of destruction and despair in its wake. Twycross Zoo is appealing for your help on Tuesday 28th October 2008 to raise funds and awareness for this worthy cause.
To help the Breast Cancer Campaign (wear it pink) day, Twycross Zoo is asking the general public when they visit the Zoo on Tuesday 28th October, to take a seat on the decking by the flamingo lake and colour or draw the pink Chilean flamingos.
To help you, six trained artists will be on site to assist you in creating your masterpiece. Pencils, crayons and art equipment will be available. When you have completed your picture of the flamingos you will be able to collect your certificate and make a donation to the campaign.
