Twycross Zoo’s ghost train is back by popular demand this October half term (Saturday 25th October to Sunday 2nd November 2008).
Ghosts, gremlins and ghouls will be haunting the train and scaring the passengers as it travels through the middle of the Zoo. Witches and wizards will be casting spells on all visitors who dare visit the Halloween themed gift shop.
Purchase one of the many creepy crawlies, bats, spiders or slithery snakes or take a dip into the trick or treat cauldron. Visit our face painter and be transformed into a goblin, frog or spook of your choice.
Ghoulish tastes of haunted cottage pie and lurch lasagne are available for anyone wishing to sample the spells and delights in the cafeteria.
Join in the witch and wizard hat making activity in the lecture hall, cut out bats, rats and spiders and decorate your Halloween hat which you can take home.
For a memorable present, adopt one of the five tiny baby Sebus fruit bats which are roosting in the tropical house bat cave.
