TALENTED youngsters put on an awe-inspiring live music show this month.
Pop Icons is an annual talent contest which this year brought together 28 of the county's most gifted teenagers.
Among the winners was 13-year-old singer Steve Rawlings, from Droitwich High School, who won the Best Under 14 category.
Stephen Belinfante, arts adviser for Worcestershire Arts Education, which organised the event, said: "It was our best ever year.
"The talented young people seem to go from strength-to-strength. A particular feature this year was their ability to use the stage. Not only were they vocally outstanding, they were choreographed and professional."
Winner of the solo female category was Cher Lloyd from Dyson Perrins CE High School, Malvern; solo male was Jack Montgomery from St Augustine's Catholic High School, Redditch, while Best Ensemble went to Hannah Boyce-Mears and Natalie French from Kingsley College, Redditch.
The contest was held at the Artrix Theatre, Bromsgrove.
